Devon T. Wade -Scholarship

Graduation season is vastly approaching. In memory of my good friend Devon Wade, I've partnered with his charity, No More Victims to give away a scholarship to one deserving high school senior in his name. Please help me make this possible by making a donation to this cause. It would mean the world to me.

To know Devon Tyrone Wade would be to know that he lived his life dedicated to the service of others. An advocate of education, he worked tirelessly with the No More Victims organization to help students turn their stories of victimization into stories of victories. In honor of his legacy, I'd like to provide a scholarship to a graduating senior in his name. Please help me honor him by contributing whatever is on your heart to give. Any questions or comments can be emailed to hello@carihawthorne.com

CONGRATS TO OUR 2019 WINNER

CYNTHIA SALDANA

“The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast you” William James . . In 2017, I lost one of my closest friends to gun violence. Apart of his legacy was ensuring that children of the No More Victims foundation (an organization that supports children of incarcerated parents) were aware of the endless opportunities available to them through training and education. . . I’ve tried to continue that awareness by providing a small scholarship to a student of the No More Victims Foundation each year. This years recipient was Cynthia Saldana. She’ll be attending Houston Community College this fall to pursue an Associates of Social Sciences. Super congrats to her!
